She Just Got Married Just For Fun
Project M....Musings on Love, Marriage and the Madness that Ensues

"Project M - exists to tell stories and share thoughts about marriage rather than offer advice; to represent marriage realistically, and offer a younger perspective, from someone who has not been married for forty years but hopes to be someday."
I found Project M as a fellow Top 10 Marriage Blogs. The community of marriage bloggers is as diverse as marriage itself. Project M is a new perspective for me, personally. A bit about Project M as told by the author, Kathleen (Twitter link):
"I decided to write about marriage in part because I feel that marriage gets really poorly represented, especially in Christian media; so I want to offer something new.
In Christian books, married people are always pictured through a foggy lens walking through a grassy park holding hands wearing all-white clothing. Or sometimes they are walking along a lake shore holding hands wearing all-white clothing with their pants cuffed. They are usually middle-aged and always look sublimely happy and carefree. I feel that these images are not only inaccurate but terribly off-putting, and make marriage look both irrelevant and unattainable to young people like me. These images are consequently very alienating for my generation. I don’t know about others, but Ben and I spend very little time on beach fronts and grassy parks and a lot time eating, cleaning up the kitchen and fighting over the computer.
Today's post (Prayers, God and Empty Wombs) tugged at my heart as she is open and honest about her desire to start a family and the difficulties she and her husband are experiencing. I invite you to read it...it may speak to you or you may have some words of encouragement to share.
